What is a child dedication?
A child dedication is a ceremony in which parents, by their participation, make a commitment before God and others to raise their children 1) to know Jesus, and 2) to develop a personal relationship with Him. As part of the ceremony, members of our leadership and generational ministries come alongside each precious family to pray for them as a show of support from their church family. We view this ceremony as a privilege and an opportunity to invest in each child’s life and heart.
Is there an age limit?
No. Although most children being dedicated are age 1 or younger, it is not uncommon to see elementary age children and older being dedicated as well.
Can we invite guests?
Absolutely. We encourage you to invite your family and friends.
Can we have a family member or friend take photos?
Yes, but please ask them to be mindful of the other families around you.
